Analog Devices AD-MAX32SXWISE-SL/AD-MAX32LRWISE-SL Development Kits are intended to design solutions based on low-power, long-range proprietary radio communication techniques. The platforms feature an RF transceiver based on spread spectrum modulation techniques derived from chirp spread spectrum (CSS) technology and support a frequency range from 800MHz to 960MHz. These kits are based on the MAX32670 ultralow-power microcontroller based on the Arm® Cortex®-M4 processor.

The platforms come in an Arduino Uno form factor, with two PMOD connectors and an ESP32 Dev Kit connector for easy-to-connect sensors and signal conditioning add-on modules. Complete with working software and hardware, as well as software examples, the kits make it easier for users to prototype and create connected systems and solutions for IoT applications. The base platform is accompanied by various Analog Devices add-on hardware but is also compatible with third-party hardware. Analog Devices also provides a free programming and debugging tool called MaximSDK.

The development kits include one base board, three sensor nodes, gateway setup essentials, and other accessories. However, users can also purchase the components individually as intended for application development.

The Analog Devices AD-MAX32SXWISE-SL development kit supplies the SX1261, an RF transceiver based on spread spectrum modulation techniques derived from CSS technology.

The Analog Devices AD-MAX32LRWISE-SL development kit features the LR1110, an RF transceiver based on spread spectrum modulation techniques derived from CSS technology.
