Renesas Electronics RL78/G24 Microcontrollers
Renesas Electronics RL78/G24 Microcontrollers offer the highest processing performance of the RL78 family of MCUs, implementing a CPU operating frequency of up to 48MHz and a flexible application accelerator (FAA). The FAA is a co-processor dedicated to arithmetic operations and can be operated independently of the CPU, delivering higher processing power. The RL78/G24 MCUs provide enhanced analog functions and an abundance of timers ideal for motor control, power supplies, and lighting applications.
The Renesas RL78/G24 Microcontrollers additionally supply a rich development environment, including an evaluation board (Fast Prototyping Board), where merely connecting a USB cable allows program writing/debugging without additional tools. Plus, a kit specialized for the initial evaluation of solutions for motors, power supplies, lighting, and a Smart Configurator, which facilitates design using GUI.
The RL78/G24 is also compatible with the existing RL78 Family. It can be a seamless replacement, making it appropriate for various applications, from home appliances and consumer electronics to industrial equipment.
